The Ring of Hircine doesn't give you the werewolf curse. If you're not already a werewolf, it just doesn't transform you randomly. Honestly it's better to do that quest before becoming a werewolf because getting out of Falkreath without transforming is a bitch.

Oof, then you got the Savior's Hide. If you side with Sinding, Hircine applauds you for "Turning the hunt on its head" and gives you an uncursed Ring Of Hircine. Unlimited werewolf transformations. Shit is super lit.

I had played maybe 200-300 hours on PS3 and I'm remembering maybe 15% of what I've experienced lol. I can't wait to get Alzheimer's, games are gonna have mad replay value lol

Yep. I haven't played it in a couple years because my Xbox 360's DVD drive won't eject. Just got it for PS4 and, with the exception of going to work, have only been playing.

I only made it to Level 35 on the PS3 but I'm pondering buying this (more likely the vanilla version, as I'm absolutely not paying $40-60 for a five year old game) now that I've joined the master race. Unfortunately I think my games queue is too long and by the time I begin playing they'll announce that they're starting development on a new game.

Great. No frame rate issues from what I've seen. Quick load times. And the graphics are great. Finally getting to play it in high resolution rather than blown up 720 really helps with identifying potential threats from a distance.

for the calcemo quest to get his research notes in the museum, i pick potted his key off the desk. if i now go and complete killing nimhe and get him to give me access, is he going to be hostile?

If you didn't get caught stealing and have no bounty, you're probably safe. If you have the quest to return to him, I believe you can do so safely. I've never done it that way but he will not make the link that you stole the key to get in: if the spider is dead and you're back, he will reward you as normal.

NPC don't go that far to catch you bamboozling them!

Never done that either. I always end up giving up on the thief questline or becoming the guildmaster. Maybe I'll kill them all when all is said and in this playthrough. I will unlock the fence for each hold and upgrade the Flaggon but after that, all bets are off!
