"Skyrim is back... again. Bethesda announced that it is releasing The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for next-gen consoles, bringing with it various enhancements.

The Skyrim 10th Anniversary Edition will be released on November 11, 2021."

My second favorite game of all time and definitely a game I've put more hours into than any other. Beat it several times on PS3 and one more time on the special edition for PS4. Probably wouldn't pay money again but now that I have game pass I may just give it one more go.

You think there is someone out there collecting every version of Skyrim on every platform?

I tried this. Im a return gamer ok guys had many, many years off. Dont even want to say how man yo.
Either way, everyone, everywhere I go w any job, its Skyrim. Particularly anywhere around any warehouse equipment they dudes like them some Rim and Hard.

Someone please explain this. Cuz I notice same thing about WOW and MMOs in general... ok I admit Skyrim great gameplay, good plot. lotsa players to combat, fun controls/rpg mode, but the GRAPHIX

Did you have to break into Todd Howard's office to obtain the sacred N64 port of Skyrim?

Feels like they release a new edition every other year

They’re being a little vague about what the next gen enhancements might be for PS5 and Series X. I wonder what they’ll actually be.

I know MS wants to be more hands off with these studios but this might be the time to step in and say enough with the fucking Skyrim.

Steal modders' work. The Legendary Edition was already pointless when it released. The Skyrim HD 2K mod was already better.

I mean, why not? The PS4 pro version of this was pretty great (much better than the PS4 version). I won't play this for a few years; all of the DLC has been completed more than once and I have no intentions of inserting the disk into my PS5.

Give me a break.

Last time I tried to play Skyrim Legendary Edition or whatever the fuck I paid for I couldn't even get into the game due to the lack of feedback from striking. Enemies act like big sponges every time you whack them with a weapon. It's just weird.

Not to mention the super-slow, long dialogue while you stare at an NPC's face while they talk.

Nah I'm good.

I feel exactly the same way.

If you're going to play as an archer or mage, the ranged combat is decent. Up close melee combat is atrocious.

I'd be interested in a sequel, but only if some serious adjustments are made to hand to hand combat. I wouldn't even mind it if it wasn't in first person anymore. Plenty of games have great open world gameplay in third person...

10 years later and no sequel. Oblivion and Skyrim were 5 years apart.
You'd hope MS would light a fire under their ass. There should be enough liquid to push this along with another Fallout.

Morrowind 2002
Oblivion 2006
Fallout 3 2008
Skyrim 2011
Fallout 4 2015

7 years between the two Fallouts, meaning it will probably be 2030 before Fallout 5 comes out. Thats assuming it isn't permanently gone in favor of Fallout 76 like what Blizzard did with the Warcraft series.

That would fucking blow. I like 76 and all but if they dump single player versions I'll be pissed.

How many versions has there been now? Enough milking, time to release a real sequel, ten years is long enough.

I for one am looking forward to my new remastered copies of Skyrim and GTA V on my PS7 in 2035
