Crime Six MAGA thugs charged after Democratic woman was forcibly removed from Republican Townhall in Idaho

Pointing out one sides whataboutism is hypocrisy.
how so? I’m not an arbiter of proper debate technique. I’m under no obligation to call out whataboutism from the left. It would be hypocrisy if I myself engaged in whataboutisms, but I don’t. I try and stick to the issue at hand and address the problem in a vacuum instead of pointing fingers at the other side to justify what “my side” is doing or to give me an excuse to look the other way.

But if it’s an issue for you then you should. It’s hackey and brings down the level of discourse (which is already lower than a snakes belly crawling through the Dead Sea)

Security fucked up it would appear they didn't have the authority to remove her. They should have let the sheriff call it in and have her trespassed then if she refused they could attest her.

She deserved ti be dragged out.

It's just all so tiresome, "the security is wearing plain clothes and dobyoubknow who else wore plain clothes the gestapo" I would bet if a similar thing happens in the future with uniformed security they would be called blackshirts or ss or whatever because they wore uniforms too
So now you're the one that knows what I really think? I specifically stated I wouldn't call them Nazis but that un-uniformed security like that was out of the fascist playbook. I had to go out for a while but have you responded to the question I asked you in good faith?

Your partisanship and misogyny are showing, chief. You might as well be holding a sign on the side of a well-traveled boulevard with your taco suit on.

He seems pretty cool in the berry but yeah geta a little jumpy here tho. Same is true with alot of folks. Politics brings out worst in everyone i guess.
It's also the written word so it's easy to give off the wrong impression if you aren't very articulate. It's why I tend to use emotis to indicate my mood.

Hypocrisy, actually.
Your outrage ends where your political ideology begins.
People are individuals. Just because you can make a determination that someone is on the left or right it doesn't mean they're two groups that always agree on everything.

A whattaboutism is used instead of making a valid defense. OK, so such and such did the same thing, doesn't that make them both guilty? What does it say about you if you can't just admit someone on your team erred?

There was a town hall in Coeur d’Alane. A women at the town hall who did previously run as a Democrat called out several times. The security hired for the event had apparently warned her to stop, and then moved to restrain her and forcibly remove her. Per las the security guards have to be visibly identifiable by wearing something that indicates they are security. These guards were not. The sheriff also was at the event and indicated that he would pepper spray her and remove her. The women asked the sheriff repeatedly if the men who grabbed her a zip tied her were his deputies. A man who went to check up on her was also zip tied by the security guards.

She was later released and went to the ED where she apparently had bruising and torn clothes. The security company that the guards worked for had their license revoked to work in the city since the local laws indicate that they are supposed to be clearly identified as security which they were not.

Im really confused as to the maga references

They were employed security guards, not vigilantes taking the law into their own hands. Seems she went to create a viral moment, and it worked
