He didn't say he was drained. He said he was bored and not interested. When you're not happy with your pay or the level of respect you're being shown, you mail it in.

I don't think many, if any, Nate Diaz fans say he would have won those fights if he was in "better shape".

I actually have 100% never heard one person say that. It could be an attributing factor to the losses, but never has it been spoken about like it's the sole reason.

On the flip, 80% of Conor fans post-fight have essentially alluded to it being "different" next time around.

Nate doesn't talk or go on like he is the GOAT or a GOAT candidate. Conor is setting his bar at ridiculous heights, saying things like having 3 belts simultaneously. He set that bar, and he cannot live up to it.

Nate is a better man than Conor - he's also a better fighter.
