Rumored Shu thinks PFL may be looking at a Fly weight tourney.

I feel like I owe Coker and Bellator an apology. I always thought of them as incompetent bufoons but shit, PFL is so much worse. This is definitely the worst era of UFC-opposition ever. PFL is such a shit promotion. They cant gain any momentum, nobody cares aboit their events, they are hell-bent in this ridiculous season gimmick, and continue this idea of artificially manufacturing PPV stars.
The PFL playoff event is today and I have seen zero people talk about it.

I'm hoping this winter they retool what they do. We don't need 6 or 7 or whatever tournaments are going on every "season" and committing that kind of money to it. I'd like to see like two a year and rotate weight classes. Then put more light on stand alone events through out the year that are designed to build the two PPV's they hope to do a year.

UFC gives us so much content that most MMA fans aren't taking there time to go watch a MMA event with barely a name anyone would recognize outside of hardcore fans.

American MMA outside the UFC is at such an all time low that fans are considering BKFC, Karate Combat, and Celebrity boxing as the primary alternatives to the UFC. There's always been a #3 promotion and now I legit don't even know what the #3 promotion in America is.

Invicta is primarily WMMA, LFA is a feeder, and the UFL have practically no major names signed to them. The UFL may rise to #3 but they recently held an event called "Phoenix vs Vegas", so it is basically a regional promotion at the moment. Looking at a Coker Bellator show from last year to PFL's bland product was jarring af to say the least. Bellator looks completely lifeless now.
PFL has manage to take all the Bellator talent and suck even harder than before.

That's the same problem Bellator ran into post-Kimbo/Dada. Regardless of what the product was, or the fighters they acquired and built up, the reputation was damaged beyond repair and the vast majority of people didn't care about them.

They were treated as a punchline for years. It sucks that an atg like Pitbull (not Patricky, he's mid) will never get his dues because he stuck with Bellator.
At least Bellator was consistent in doing events. PFL does the whole season gimmick (that everyone knows is fixed to get their favorites an easier path) then they stay out of the public eye for months at a time and expect people to care about them. With zero marketing and zero buzz behind them. At least Bellator wss treated as a punchline, but nobody even cares have an opinion on PFL.

It’s not even that, Bellator events from previous years had more hype and people talking about them, these pfl events this year are literally zero

I think that’s the biggest issue with them, they go on two or more month breaks and everyone forgets they exist. Even locally, people would turn up for Bellator events in Chicago, San Diego, Mohegan sun, etc.

Pfl can’t even get hardcore fans to come out locally to their events
