Well budo didn't switch my sizing like they said they would, so o just got my giant a2. Too big to shrink, so up on the bay it goes. Here is a pic of it under my a2 vulkan

did you try to shrink it at all ?

If you wash hot water and machine dry - 2-4 times the gi should shrink about 2.5 - 4"

There is no way it will shrink enough. As soon as I get home I will post pics of a shrunken vulkan vs brand new. Each time I bought a vulkan, I thought they were huge, but they shrank perfectly. Now this syr has twice the size difference. There is no way it will shrink enough to be a good fit. These companies really gotta get their shit together when it comes to sizing. A 4" throw in sizes is ridiculous to say the least especially when they aren't accurate in the first place...

I'm sure you will be able to get your money back with Ebay. A2 is a popular size in demand.

For sure but I'm super bummed because it really is a nice gi. The collar is beyond thick, the kimono is really lite but sturdy, and the pants are super super light and strong and have gi material in the crotch/inner thigh!!!

shoyoroll gi's don't shrink that much.

Not true at all, the skirt and sleeves on my gi both shrunk 3in after about 5 hot washes and high drying.
