Should this guy get fired?

I'm a custodian (cleaner) in a small crew, we work in different places but we mostly clean offices. One of my coworkers had to clean a large building with a lot of women in it. While he was cleaning the toilets, apparently someone saw him taking used female hygiene products out of the bin. He put them in his pockets and took them home allegedly.

The boss found out and he wants to fire him.

I think it's a little extreme and maybe he just needs some therapy.

I don't think the guy should be fired immediately, but his action should be documented and kept on file. That way there is ammo to fire the guy should he screw up.

The guy's actions are alarming to say the least.

I disagree slightly. The guy deserves to be fired but it's probably best to keep him employed so that he can be watched.

Not really, usually what we do is throw the used products in a garbage bag and take it to a container. This guy decided to put it in his pockets.

I don't know what else happened.

He's trying to save the environment by reducing plastic bag use. He should be commended, not fired.

I've read a couple books on him. He had everyone around him fooled, from his girlfriend, parents, co workers to politicians and even members of the general public. People found it extremely difficult to believe that a promising, charismatic law student could lay waste to so many young girls through several states. Even after he escaped prison for the 1st time. He was the definition of a wolf in sheep's clothes.

Even the judge who finally convicted him once and for all said he woulda loved to have seen him practice before him and that he had no animosity towards him. Saying this to a dude who literally had sex with corpses.
