Should the UFC introduce VAR?

No. It (arguably) works in football because of the length and intensity of the game. In a fight where a minutes rest for a pressured fighter can mean the difference between win or lose the delay would affect the outcome too much. Maybe in between rounds but even that's a stretch.

At most I could see using it for deducting points for egregious fouls that were missed in real time by the ref, but even then it would get used wrong and ruin a fight then everyone would be crying to take it back out again.

I absolutely hate video review in hockey (goals called back for retro-active offside that was too close to be sure even on review), and in American football it is way overused (how can you use it to spot the ball when the ball is in the middle of a pile of 8 players???).

I'll take real-time judgement of the ref which is sometimes wrong but preserves the flow of the contest over marginally improving accuracy of calls.
