This 100%. I despise these industries but can’t really advocate for a legal ban at present. Wouldn’t mind a few off the book knee capping’s though ;)

I don't think it should be regulated or banned per say... for adults

But would like at least some measure to restrict unabated access to minors. Maybe having a credit card tied to an account for age verification, even if the site is free?

lol... Yeah, I know. The cat is out the bag on this. There's likely no going back without the government shutting down all porn sites.

I can't imagine what its like to be a raging hormone 13 or 14 year old with today's smart phone access to unlimited porn.

A fucked up scrambled screen from the playboy channel was enough to get me going when I was that age... Sometimes I'd even find one of my dad's Hustler magazines... At least it wasn't free anytime access. I had to find privacy and/or a time/place when no one was around.

Even before smart phones, it could be sketchy... Using the family computer in the wee hours, hoping no one would wake up and sneak in on you.

Now... Its as easy as diving into any bathroom, locking the door and firing up Pornhub anytime... I probably would have rubbed the skin off. Fuck, could be in the mall or a restaurant.

Not surprising some of these kids are complete desensitized by the time they're in their 20's.

Honestly, it’s so destructive both in predatory towards women and setting guys up for unrealistic and un loving sex towards women I think society would definitely be better if it was gone

That’s pretty much not possible, but I would like to see age controls like gambling has with online identity verification that the person is over 18 or 21. Curious 11 and 12 year olds are stumbling on some very wild stuff long before they’re emotionally and developmentally ready to view that. Modern internet porn is nothing like an older cousin with a playboy hidden under his mattress.

As disgusting as it is , I find the idea of opening the door to restrictions on the freedom of speech to be worse.

Anyone who doesn't want to watch porn doesnt have to watch porn.

Why deny everyone else the choice simply because some find it distasteful?

I do find it interesting that the most socially repressed communities tend to have the higher condition rates.
