I'm thinking of doing one or the other.

I have no astronaut experience, but I love sci-fi movies- especially when they take place in outer space.

But I'm also thinking of becoming a MMA fighter. I have a limited martial arts background, (silver belt on Sherdog,) am in my mid thirties, but think I have a good chance at making it big.

Which one should I choose, Sherdog?

Fight for humanity in the UFC.

Universe Fighting Championship, headquartered in MARS MO'FUGGER.

I say become a rocket scientist, it's not exactly brain surgery!

The average astronaut takes home more money than average MMA pro.

But the average MMArtist is statistically MUCH less likely to die on the job.

I don't know which one will get you more chicks. If you like tattooed chicks, go with MMA.

Really though, don't listen to people saying be an astronaut or be a MMartist. Those are just MMA guys and astronauts who want you to be like them. You need to choose very carefully.

I say flip a coin.

GSP accomplished both at the same time. You can too.

lets look at the pros and cons

Astronaut
pros:
meet aliens

cons: aliens might kill you

MMA
pros:
fight and become a rock star

cons: the cocaine addiction might kill you

the cons are a wash so for me personally i'd rather meet aliens than become famous stuff

Astronaut. That way you can tell us if the Earth is flat or what.

Silver belt? I don't see no belt (belts not showing up for me :()

Astronaut because your mother was one! Seriously, I would sign my ass to NASA for recurrent trips out there if I had that chance.
