Like should a fighter with asthma be allowed to use an inhaler?

We outlawed TRT for low testosterone, for example. Where's the line?

If they can't fight without medical help, they shouldn't be fighting.

Shouldn't there be reasonable exceptions though?
The thing is we can't be a 'purist' sport, as most every sport fan desires their sport to be...if the athletes can't compete on their own merits. This is why people detest PED users so vehemently. If we aren't allowing people to amplify their abilities, when they are already physically competent, we shouldn't allow it when they aren't. It's just logically inconsistent to do so.

That all said, I truly am not bothered by PEDS in sports at all. I don't care who uses/doesn't. I just like consistency. So long as it's against the rules, they should be universally enforced.

Yes I know, we all want TRT Vitor back..
I want TRT HGH insulin asthma inhaler epo pain killer reflex stimulated enhanced consciousness Vitor. 300 lbs, 5% bodyfat, 25 round cardio inability to feel pain with heightened reflexes and awareness Vitor.

Sure.. as long as it doesn't have an advantage in the cage.

IMO the line is simple. If fighters abuse something, take them out.
It fucks those who really need it (i.e. BFS with TRT) but it is better than having guys perfectly healthy abusing TRT to gain an advantage.

Yes, inhalers help you breath normally, they dont increase performance.

Breathing normally is a better performance than not breathing normally. Everyone has physical disadvantages. Height. Speed. Reflexes. Asthma and diabetes are just physical disadvantages that are so bad you might die if you don't increase your breathing or blood sugar performance. Why should you only get to compensate for a physical disadvantage if it's just really, really bad?

Edit: Except Jon Jones. Motherfucker has no physical disadvantages and he has a high IQ. Just kind of impulsive in real life, that's his only weakness.

Have you ever had an asthma attack do you know what actually happens and why so many people actually die from it?

Are there actually fighters with asthma competing in the UFC?

Imagine breathing problems during a fight.

The difference between PEDs and an inhaler is that an inhaler doesn't give you more muscle mass and better recovery time from workouts.
