To be fair though, the 2018 shooper of the year contest started on Dec. 5th... & closed Dec. 13th... & so what I consider one of my best shoops ever, wasn't revealed that I did it... until a day after the Shooper of the year poll closed last year. So it's fair that it can be used in this year'z poll.

I waz just chatting to @bigwaverider about this in a PM... & we haven't resolved on anything, but to me it seems the "voting year" starts Dec of the previous year - the end of Nov of the current year. Either that, or maybe we need to do the shooper of the year poll in January.

Yea, december to december definitely makes the most sense. This thread was started in december and most nomination threads I've seen as well.
