This whole thing was a massive group effort by fight fans.
Also, Tachy and Shonuf deserve huge credit for seeing the potential of this thread and allowing it to not only be archived, but also stickied.

They do, but you spotting that incredulous moment is the absolute source of this entire journey. It's just a shoop thread but it's so fun, the fight hasn't even happened yet and it's a thread like this that has kept the MMA community so pumped during injury time.

A reminder of the Jones & Cormier's upcoming fight is always there at the top of the forum with new content being posted every few days and dare I say it's been topped off by UGrudg sending a t-shirt to Daniel Cormier with a photo back tells me some of these fighters do give a shit.

rudj, your efforts have not gone unnoticed here. It took a few days for that image of Daniel Cormier holding that t-shirt to really sink in but for him to validate all this work and effort by you, Chuck and all the other shoopers and the fight fans who want to see this fight so bad... you made that happen. It's so surreal.

As for all the stuff going on in your life we wish you all the best. Check out the mayberry lounge if you want to write about it and get it off your chest. Not sure if the UG has that sort of thing but it helps to vent sometimes. So anyways, just wanted to give a proper shout-out to you and Chuck. Keep up the good work guys and to all the other grandmaster shoopers too who keep contributing.......... plus, Jones and Cormier haven't even fought yet. Crazy.

It's probably going to be the biggest fight in MMA / UFC history and I haven't felt a buzz surrounding a big title fight like this since Fedor / CroCop threw down almost 10 years ago. For real.

Cormier is absolutely my favourite thing about MMA now. The guy is a badass, is cool as fuck and the way he has owned Jones in this whole thing has been so satisfying. I can't wait for him to smash Jones and take the title!! I'll be a fan forever.
