I was too young for the OG series. Never read the book but I've read Gai-jin years ago so I know this is going to be good. Production seems to be on point and Hiroyuki Sanada is a tremendous addition to this series.

Yeah FX pushed the limit of basic cable back in the day with the Shield, Nip/Tuck ect, on what you could show on us TV, bot in sex and violence.

Anyway, read the book and never saw the original so I might give it a whirl.

HULU had what I think was on FX, Y's The Last Man or something like that, and they had one scene where several women were all buck naked bathing in individual tubs. They showed very large boobs and maybe split second beaver from a distance.

I never really watched anything from FX.
