Shogun-Sonnen 2 will be like Shogun-Forrest 2

Probably, Shogun looked horrible in that fight, up there with his fight against Forrest 1...

Sonnen is a quitter and won't make it out the first round if they had a rematch.

Shale by first round TKO or submission again.

Everything I stated was fact and if you wanna be real about it, the title is the only thing that matters.

I'm guessing your perception is that Sonnen isn't that good, which is why you're taking the loss to him so hard. In reality, Sonnen's elite - top 5 in his real division. There is no shame in losing to him.

chael is not a better fighter, hes a way better talker tho which confuses most of the mma fans these days that come from watching wwe.
theyre both amazing at what they do, getting caught in a choke that early do4esnt really tell us much. if they fought 10 times do you guys really think chael wins that fight 10 times in a row cuse he caught shogun in a choke?
and let me ask you this, how many of you actually train and realize how easy it can be to get caught in a choke by a high level guy?

If you actually train you should know how hard it is to pull of a win against a top guy.

So Chael, the quitter, made Shogun quit in the first round.

Derp.

Chael Sonnen owned Shogun. Damn, am I ever tired of Shogun fans trying to invalidate his losses. Just be happy about his victory last night.

Lol at owned. Shogun got caught in a submission early and I don't see that happening most of the time if they fought say ten times. He has way more heart than Sonnen and that makes him a favorite in the rematch imo.

Getting subbed in the first round without much effort is getting owned. Deal with it, fanboy. And I already stated I favor Shogun in a rematch.

LOL

No Shogun lost, terribly, no excuses but the fact is Chael has a terrible record at LHW, Shogun is his biggest win in his career, and Shogun's resume is better with better comp.

U mad! :icon_lol:

How exactly does Shogun being champion nearly three years ago mean he's better than Sonnen today?

1. Shogun is currently at 500 while Sonnen is below 500
2. Shogun is currently 1-0 while Sonnen is 0-1 since there fight
3. Sonnen is behind a desk, Shogun is winning fights

anything else partnah???

Then you have a different idea of what "owning" is than I do. If Chael had dominated Shogun in every area of the game for five rounds then he would have owned Shogun.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to justify it, brah. Hope you feel better.

Yes, "partnah," you could actually answer my question. You said:

Everything I stated was fact and if you wanna be real about it, the title is the only thing that matters.

So again, I ask, how does Shogun being champion three years ago make him a better fighter than Sonnen today? I'm just trying to "be real about it," is all.

Who knows with Shogun, he has the skills and talent to take out Sonnen pretty easily. Whether he trains and gets his head right is another matter.
