He has improved a lot in that area though to be honest, not long ago he was talking about how he was a pure striker and would have never even thought about a takedown.

True. I posted in another thread about how he should spam takedowns on Marshall to set up the win. Didn't think he'd do it, but I was happy he did

he gasses now and has some sloppy striking. tiger looked terrible too. what's going on here?

Shlemenko did a great job, glad he's still the champ as I can't stand Marshall. In the UFC, Shlemenko would have to drop to 170lbs but could still make some noise there!

Regardless Marshall is a beast. Had him winning the standup exchanges until them brutal body shots. Hope to see him come back, he's fun to watch.

Marshall is mediocre always has been. He didn't win 1 minute of that fight.

Shlemenko is one of my favorite fighters to watch in the middleweight division. Like mentioned earlier I am excited at the opportunity to see him in the UFC one day. I don't know if he could ever get the belt, he'd be like the Carlos Condit of the middleweight division in my opinion. Maybe I'm over rating him a slight bit but the guy really has a great skillset.
