Isn't "peckerwood" the same as "cracker?" Pretty sure it's a derogatory term aimed at whites by blacks? I'm not that familiar with it, seen it used in a lot of prison movies.

The term "peckerwood" is widely adopted by white penitentiary inmates. Although I've never heard it used to signify a "gang" in and of itself. But the term does not necessarily connote that you are a convict or are associated with any gang or racist organization as such. But trust me, that is what the term is typically taken to mean.

He has improved a lot in that area though to be honest, not long ago he was talking about how he was a pure striker and would have never even thought about a takedown.
