Shinya Aoki UFC material yet?

Ducking real competition because he knows he would get KO'd. RDA would destroy Shinya.
 
He would get knocked out by most of the top ten but I would still like to see him in the UFC.
 
He's been UFC material for awhile now, he just has no interest fighting outside of Asia.
 
He has had offers from the UFC. But his required pay level would force him to be facing top 15 talent which could be bad news for him.
 
UFC would love to have him to Japanese cards, but I'm sure he's turned them down 10 times by now.
 
He's always been UFC material, he's just not top 10 material. Considering how much he gets paid or would want to get paid he would need to be.
There would be a bunch of really fun fights for him at LW, I wish he would come over.
 
He doesn't want to be in ufc. Lives in Asia wants to fight for Asian based promotion.

He got mauled by Gilbert and Eddie he didn't even look like he belonged in the cage with them.
 
He smoked quite a few guys who were UFC material and among the TUF contestants who got official UFC bouts, he'd smoke them too.

It does seem like the underworld characters are preventing him from going to UFC, in addition to UFC's lowballing him.

Saying he got mauled by Gilbert is an insult to Hansen and Sakurai.
It's like saying Anderson Silva mauled Demian Maia.

I recommend you watch the fight again without your bias Aoki loving glasses off this time around. He got clowned on all fight it wasn't even remotely close. He was also saved by the bell at one point.

Yes, because everyone in the lightweight division can sprawl like those guys. What about the other 30 or so times he's been able to get a takedown?

Being in the UFC doesn't mean shit. People act like being in the UFC means a fighter is great. Look at some of the guys the UFC is signing, it's a joke. A lot of them have a handful of wins and they're wins against 2-3, 0-2, 6-4 type of guys. WOW!
 
He's not ambitious enough.I think he's gonna be top 10 UFC at least, but will get picked off by the likes of pettis, edgar, thompson, Cerrone and Barboza.

Fight wasn't close to being stopped at any point. Kawajiri damaged Aoki more in a fight he lost in a couple of minutes. You clearly don't understand what mauling is.
