In a post on Bushiroad’s official website, Bushiroad President Takaaki Kidani hinted that WWE has reached out to New Japan Pro Wrestling to get the content for the WWE Network.

He wrote: “One proposed idea would be for the WWE to show NJPW footage [on the Network], but this type of proposal just shows that they don’t see us as competition. Play NJPW footage on the Network, see if any of our wrestlers gain popularity, then buy that wrestler out; that’s probably the extent of their thoughts on it. It’s a very obvious strategy.”

NJPW has their own streaming service called New Japan World. They also have a weekly show that airs Fridays on AXS TV, which brings in strong ratings for the network. Kidani said that while it is a long way off, they want to compete with major entertainment groups
 
Just looked at the SmackDown spoilers

Sheamus and King Barrett teamed again for a match against the Lucha Dragons, and Rusev was with them. Sheamus, Barrett and Rusev in a stable has A LOT of potential. I really like the look of this
 
I started watching NJPW on AXS and it's pretty good. I don't really care for those bullet club nerds tho

Reigns as Mr. MITB and then turning heel when he cashes in would have been cool.

Bray would have been a cool choice too, especially with the Family reunited. He could have put the contract in a bloody old sack or something instead of a fancy briefcase.

I don't think that we will have to worry about Sheamus winning the belt. I think that he will either cash in and lose or he will lose the briefcase.

That would be great to see. WWE should have relationships with other promotions imo.:)
