Shevchenko's mom is WORLD SHADOWBOXING CHAMPION?

Sleeping pfff... Of course you have to sleep, and to drink also btw
Yes it's more important than all of that, especially in the beginning whe you need to build up your foundations
No forget the eat. It's all about the sleepy, drinky, eaty.

Shadowboxing is important for speed/movement/footwork and you can throw at 100% and do all your motions and combinations at full speed. There's a reason why all elite level boxers/muay thai/kickboxing/mma fighters shadowbox. It's also a great way to visualize a fight in your head, if you are capable of visualizing in that way.
I think most importantly it trains a fighter to maintain balance.

Watching Mike Tyson shadowbox he could fire 4 and 5 punch combos at incredible speed while maintaining perfect balance the entire time. Punch to where your opponent is going to be and don't get way off balance if you miss.

I know when I did TKD it was all patterns and shit, probably the same with Momma Shevchenko. Gotta have the right form or whatever.

Yes very true, and he is able to work his speed and power as well. He is throwing those combinations very fast with a lot of power in each punch.

Did i heard that correctly? What the hell is going on!

In my limited UFC training i can confirm that shadowboxing is a complete waste of time - it is way better to spar at 100% either rolling or in standup.

Lmaoooooooo

Yes. Sparring 100% all the time is the way to go....

Of course you are just building everything you need to develop except toughness, and timing (those things are obtained through sparring).
Muscle memory, balance, handspeed, visualization, footwork, perfect technique.
You also can work on everything while shadowboxing. While in fight you rely on what you are good at because you have to win/not get beat up, in shadowboxing you can calmly work on things you wouldn't do in a fight.

Solid speed but i think i can throw it faster but prime mike probably packs little more power than me

Ah you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!

I can do that

Calm down.

If she won an actual Muay Thai championship based on shadowboxing that would be one thing. But she won a shadowboxing title similar to winning an air guitar contest.

Plus she's old. Let her be.

I thought it was cool that her mom,who is a former muay thai champion, was still active in her age. Val brought this up to explain that she got extra motivation from the fact that if her mom can still get the competitive urge,so can she.

Impressive.

For those who don't know, it's really hard to win a shadowboxing match. Your opponent always seems to know what you're going to do next. That's really hard to prepare for, let alone deal with in real time.

Those in the know know this is legit. In fact, this might be one of the highest combat achievements ever in the entirety of history.
Then I must be shadowboxing champ material. I'm 74-0 in shadowboxing. My opponent never sees my uppercuts coming.

Isn’t more likely because it’s a reflection of your position in the male hierarchy?

You’ve got 2 choices, either -

1) It’s a reflection of your own weaknesses and lower standing in the male hierarchy. Physical and psychological traits we developed over millennia that have served society brilliantly. Hard wired into us

2) You’re part of a fictional problem in a fictional world liberals have created in recent year which completely flies in the face of all common sense and science. Women are equal to men in all ways, masculinity is toxic, gender is fluid

One of those options makes you an ignorant soy boy beta cuck, the other doesn’t. Choose wisely

"Male hierarchy"
