Thors quit powerlifting and is returning to strongman
Bench is just plan stupid based on old videos it really taxes your tendons and pec muscles to insane levels. Almost all pretty much all big benchers have pec tears and shoulder problems. Seen videos with so many with issues.Haven't been following him post-pec tear, but I have to imagine that this decision was made because strongman prioritizes shoulder pressing and so he can avoid doing bench presses and directly taxing his chest. I suspected that he might end up right back in strongman, except after squandering however many years getting out of strongman shape/practice when he could've stayed in the groove and stayed at the top like Big Z. Good luck to him getting back into it.

I never had a pec tear myself but seeing people with it and various injuries I stopped benching and I still not much of a fan of deep squats though my best squat was 450 lb but I could have done more I prefer leg press.I partially tore my pec in 2016. Barely exercised since. Only recently did physical therapy and am slowly inching my way back, but I still have pain and am still weak and have less shoulder mobility. Needless to say, I have no plans on ever benching again unless it's incline. So if this is Thor's reasoning, it makes perfect sense to me.
It's such a big ask to get Brian to learn how to throw punches, like Brian says, he's out of his element.
Pudzinowski looking to fight Brian even did a poster of the two fighting to build up the potential fight. Mariusz actually fought Tim Sylvia and at the beginning was bullying Tim around. The issue was his lungs and he could not keep up the pace Tim pulled out the win in my home state of MA. I am willing Dana likes Brian and would love to get something like this going just for the freakshow nature. The fight Pudzinowski had with Tim if he had won it would have punched his card to fight in the UFC. Because he was 285 I think we he fought Tim and now fights at 265. Rogan even talked about Brian but they would need to make a superheavy class because no way in Brian able to get down to 300 let alone 265.
Shit it would be a struggle for Brian to get below 350.
