Yeah, if someone posts, "Jack refuted a position that I am emotionally attached to and hurt my feelings," Anung, Cubo, Greoric, and others will "like" it. Bigger factor, though, is that I'm pretty much WR-only, and other forums get a lot more likes. I posted some lame joke in the HWs on the first page of a thread that got really big and got a shocking number. I'd imagine regular HW posters have crazy "like" ratios. Other forums, like the lame sports one, appear to be a small group of guys flirting with each other and liking everything.

Doesn't affect my point, though, which is that you know Pallis and others click on a thread if they see my name, while it doesn't go the other way. No one in the WR has ever clicked on a thread because they saw Pallis (or Junes, or SMEAC, or The Higher Power, etc.) was in it.
 
I think what we need here is wad tucket to like the posts in this thread.
