I think they should cover Dancing with the stars and Days of our Lives as well.On the front page. The justification is that Brock is in it.
This is ridiculous. It's sad enough that MMA already has enough grown-ass men who still watch WWE
watching MMA and making comparisons.
It really makes the sport look bad with the comparisons.
Post if you agree and want Sherdog to take it down.

Children like wwe. I don't know how any adult can enjoy the current product of wwe. It's like an adult who watches blues clues or sponge Bob or that my little pony show. It's just weird. I understand like 15 years ago that the product actually catered to adult viewers. I was one of them as a teenager. But the product slowly became a kids show. And in 2016 it's unbelievably that way. They don't show blood. They don't even hit each other on the head anymore and have gone so far to ban moves!!! Not because the moves were dangerous. But because they just "looked bad" like this one guy used a move called the curb stomp. It looked cool but it was totally safe for the wrestlers. They banned it stating it looked bad and too violent. So they pretty much sanitized it to the core where children are their main target audience now.

That's what's crazy!!! But in 1999 those 40 year olds were 23. In 1999 the product was geared towards adults. I guess the guys who still watch it didn't get the memo. Oh wait a minute some did! Back in those days the ratings were in the 7.0 average. Now it's 3.0 average. The average WWE viewer is 40 years old.
That is older than the average UFC viewer.
They have less kids watching in 2016 than 1999.

It's like being in an abusive relationship. They think some day it's going to get better. It's funny how bad those 40 year olds boo Roman Reigns. It's like dude. The product isn't meant for you! It's meant for kids. As a kid. I can get behind Roman. I don't get the undue hate he gets. But then again. I don't watch it regularly. I just watch it here and there. What's wrong with this Reigns guy?

It is a kids show in my eyes. They almost go out of their way to cater to children. Because they know the hardcore adults will just lap up anything they are selling. A big factor is Triple H and Stephanie have small children of their own. From like 5 years old to 9 I think. They want to produce a show that their children can watch. It's painfully obvious. There is a reason why growth is stifled. I habe a cousin who was a big WWE fan just 3 years ago. He's 15 now. But when he was 12 he loved it. He stopped watching it because it got "too fake and too silly" in his own words. When they cater to kids. The kids grow up and watch something else. But prowrestling is in between a rock and a hard place. They used to present prowrestling as real back in the day. Even as recent as Rock vs Austin in 2002 at Wrestlemania. But with the total end to kayfabe. And with the rise of MMA. Yes UFC. It's hard to capture that golden era. Especially since now we have real fights with UFC. That's why it was super popular in 2008. (UFC) because at that time. WWE became PG and just got sillier and stupid while mma. UFC became a legit sport. And the same is to be said in 2016. But I still feel they can do a better job in WWE regardless of kayfabe being dead and buried. They just try appealing to everyone and eventually no one. Who knows.Basically, WWE have kept their hardcore fans from that era and did not add a new audience.
But it is a misnomer to think they are a kids show.
Most characters don't appeal to kids (not like the Hogan/Warrior days) and the show is on until 11:10pm.
What they are is family friendly. They are trying to appeal to everyone and that is where they have issues. It is impossible to do so.
But right now 85k+ are in ATT Stadium so they are doing somethings right lol.
In all serious, once Vince retires the creative should improve greatly with HH in charge.
Vince is a killer businessman but has no pulse of the audience.
