If you would like to have your questions answered by Sherdog.com Executive Editor Greg Savage please post them here by Wednesday afternoon. Every week Greg will select a few questions for his Postal Connections mailbag.

Thanks guys

Just a heads up, troll this thread or get inappropriate if you feel it's worth your account.

Fair warning

Do you like the massive amount of Connor threads as they bring more traffic (ad money) to the site or do you think they're just as annoying as the rest of us?

How much effort goes into trying to get Pro MMA fighters to post on sherdog?

What was the decision to change the website layout based on, and are there metrics to prove a benefit in doing so?

Not really a question but I suppose I'll post it here. Not really digging the twitter feed on the right. I don't have anything against twitter feeds, per se but yours is only linked to the sherdog twitter which is bland, boring and frankly pretty shit.
The better option would be to create a sherdog "list" consisting of fighters and promoters from various organisations etc. and link that to the feed. For example, the official UFC fighter list.
https://twitter.com/ufc/lists/ufc-fighters?lang=en.
You could create a sherdog list which would be a bit more encompassing. This way we could get real time twitter updates from fighters etc without actually actually having a twitter account.

^^ I second Kashmirs comment. Your twitter feed is somewhat lackluster and I'm on the border of unfollowing.

1. the above Q is a good 1- i believe that it would be fairly easy to recruit fighters to post-especially after Chael/Conor have shown how much marketing affects their pay...
Have you considered approaching any?
Maybe they post in a separate forum than Heavies, to stop the morons. Like another plat forum, or only users with a certain longevity?

2. is it accurate that fighters no longer have tags?

thx.

Do Sherdog's writers/editors/hosts have conscious disdain for Sherdog's forums?

Admittedly that was a leading question. Mostly I wanted to make the point that the staff seems to want to ignore that this place even exists.

Are you looking for questions around the site in particular or are MMA questions in general OK?

That's a great question and a tough one to answer. Got my curiousity peaked.

It's my experience that they think the forum is a total joke and not worth a fuck but I will admit I haven't listened to Sherdog radio in a long time and this sticky is evidence that attitude has changed but since making a thread is essentially effortless that evidence is pretty thin.

Why is there no live broadcast / radio show for mma events?

And why not have a countdown / clock on the website for major events? It'd help clarify when they're starting. This would be helpful for overseas events & for people who live outside of the US

Most pro fighters who have already made it do not post on forums.
Josh Barnett would be the exception here but for the most part, the fighters I see posting are trying to get their names out and forums are a great place to do so.

But for the most part, most fighters have no desire to be trolled and even this thread is evidence of how impossible it is to keep a thread on track and free of trolls.

Just not a lot of benefit.

What do you think the UFC's plans are for UFC 200 / Robbie Lawlor ?

I'm actually a little disappointed that some people in this thread can't even follow simple instructions.

Maybe a stupid question but what kind of things should we be asking this guy? Are question more for the sherdog front page and articles as opposed to the forum?

Perhaps a little more info on who he is and what his roll is would help us in asking relevant questions instead of asking who he thinks will win at UFC 200 or if he thinks Conor is shook?

Here's an example

http://www.sherdog.com/news/article...r-McGregor-the-209-and-Wanderlei-Silva-101237

Questions/comments like "What's your opinion on this current event", "Who do you think such and such should fight next?", "What do you make of this..." etc.

My question for Mr. Savage: How long do you think it will be until we see another reigning champion move up in weight for a fight or challenge another champion for a belt that isn't Conor McGregor? Is he the only guy the UFC will let move up when he wants or do you think the UFC may be changing it's typically restrictive nature on letting champs move up?

like you with that quality question you're asking right there?

for greg: Do you believe GSP will return for UFC 200? If so, do you think that he will challenge Robbie Lawler for the belt? In that scenario, who receives top billing and who gets co-main between GSP/lawler and Conor/frankie (or aldo)?

I already asked my questions. Don't you worry about me. One of my questions, actually, was essentially "what about GSP vs Lawler at UFC 200?"
