We shouldn't assume that they're big name wrestlers. It's not like Khamzat is an olympian or anything.
close to that level.

Says he’s brought in 2 big Russian wrestlers to help him train for Khamzat. If he really wanted to keep it a secret he shouldn’t have mentioned it. Now I’m curious. Any clues or ideas?

I was about to say the same thing. While not a Russian, I hear the Iron Shiek is there as well. He'll bring those Persian exercise thingies (not sure what they're called but he was working out with them decades before kettlebells got popular). He's brought in the Koloffs,Ivan, and Nikita.
Now Ivan being dead might be a problem, but not one that cant be solved.

I heard it was Ben Askrenkov and Dmitri Cormier. Could just be a rumor, though.Karelin and Tolstoy, my sources have confirmed.
They were the guys who answered his craigslist ad, obviously.
Just search craigslist for man seeking men to wrestle with and you'll find the post.
Imagine getting into a bar fight with someone that looks like this....
You talk like Burns is a striker.A 6-week training camp isn't going to prepare you to beat a high level, lifelong wrestler like Khamzat.
Dustin flew out wrestlers and Sambo fighters to prepare for Khabib. Masvidal also trained with wrestlers for Usman. Neither was able to make up the deficit. It will go down the same way for Burns.
Yeah, I think you're right. My sources suck.I heard it was Ben Askrenkov and Dmitri Cormier. Could just be a rumor, though.

Did you really just compare Jorge/Dustin BJJ to Burns? He's a BJJ guy trying to beat someone with a lifetime of wrestling experience through 6 weeks of training. It won't be enough.
Masvidal and Porier are BJJ black belts too. Neither could outwrestle their opponents despite similar wrestling focused training camps.

Like GSP?Translation error, he said Rush In wrestlers
2018 and 23 y/o Khamzat could have pursued a career in wrestling but instead chose to fight MMA. He was a dominant freestyle wrestler in Sweden. I don't know why you got upset. Put me on ignore.
Yes, I'm aware. That's why I specified Sweden. I didn't mean for people to think I was saying he was going to hop in a career with wrestling and start racking up golds.Dominating wrestling in Sweden does not make you world class.
