Shame on the UFC for not allowing Aspinall into the Octagon

They've sprung this surprise in the post fight interview a few times. They did it with DC and Brock. They should have done it with Aspinall. This guy is clearly the future of the division. Their future star whenever Jones vacates the belt. They should have taken this opportunity to promote him.

Yeah agreed. Trump was leaving at the same time though so maybe it made it impossible to pull unplanned people into the cage

It probably would have flopped with Jones' non-committal answer to who he's fighting next. I think he's trolling at this point and knows he has to fight Aspinall next, but it's a little annoyong at times why we can't get a clear answer. There's no "negotiations" with fighting the damn interim champ who already defended.
