I've been playing some of my Gamecube Favorites on the Dolphin emulator and of course Eternal Darkness was among them and I was surprised at how well it still holds up. A few years ago the director of the game released footage of a sequel but it died down rather quickly and I completely forgot about it.
I did another search on it the other day and it appears that they have a new youtube channel and just recently (few days) re-released their trailers and confirmed that the sequel is still underway. Not sure what the holdup was but I'm pretty excited for it and I hope it gets released for all major platforms if it actually does get finished.
In case you missed it, here's the original 9min demo (was 3 years ago but still holds up) that they just re-posted a few days ago on their channel. This and Shenmue 3 are giving me a true nostalgia hard-on!
