I've never messed around with anyone underage, but I understand what ts is saying. There are levels and shades of grey to this. Huge difference between a man taking advantage of a prepubescent child and a young adult messing around with someone who is a year or two under the limit that's not a virgin and consents.

I know that the way the law is that 15 will still get you 20, but I've heard stories of a boyfriend girlfriend who were a year apart in age and the boyfriend went to jail after turning 18 when it was legal for him to be with his girlfriend prior to his birthday.

The law should be modified to make allowances for situations like that where the age gap is less than 2-3 years.

We have some at my job (as clients). We work with people with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. Turns out that, not only have most of them been abused at some point, a considerable fraction of them are s. One of, if not the most high functioning is a sex offender. He denies wanting to do anything to children (and maybe that's true), but the guy loves making inappropriate jokes (even though he's not at all funny). Also needed to be made aware that sharing underwear with his brother was some weird shit.

I'm attracted to older women, it's actually my thing, but from a biological standpoint we'd be better off if more women had children at a younger age than the current culture of getting their education, career, and life experiences out of the way before desperately trying to push out a couple before their clock runs up. There would be less birth defects.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not interested in super young girls myself, but from 15 on is really a prime breeding age in terms of their eggs being at their freshest and them being most capable of bearing healthy children.

When I was a teen, I had a friend who loved to smoke weed, so I would always smoke with him. I was never much of a drugs guy myself, but at that age you can easily get caught up in what your friends do.

One of the places we would go to smoke weed is with this older guy who lived in the same housing complex that he did. He lived in sort of an "upscale" housing project, or council estate as I believe you call it in the UK. They were "garden-style" apartments, like small townhouses with living areas downstairs and bedrooms upstairs.

So this guy was basically a drug dealer/drug user who lived there and my friend would go there to smoke weed and get weed to use later or to sell or whatever. A few years later this guy got busted for making child porn with some street kids from the area. It also turns out he was a queer and he died of AIDS not long after that.

Another crazy thing is that there was another guy from my area who was on The Underground forums years ago talking about how he got arrested and charged with a hate crime for beating this guy up for being a creep because the guy told the police that it was a gay bashing. He says he was able to get the charges dropped and then the guy got busted not long after that.

2. It's normal for men to find POST-pubescent young women attractive. What's abnormal is if you actually date them and are fixated on them. Personally, while I find girls and women around 16-24 to be attractive, I'd prefer to date 25+ because of maturity, common interests, etc.

My father was a high-level operations manager/director of operations in quite a few businesses and he had a team of three that would follow him, his right-hand men, so to speak.

Ten years ago, I was working under my father (he set me up with my first full-time job) and I met the three of them several times. One bloke he is still in touch with, a very nice Nepalese fellow.

The other two? He said that they are both a bit weird. They are both brothers, I got on with them both, but things came to a head when the oldest one was found by my father to have child pornography on his work-computer, and my father (who was a victim of sexual abuse as a child), reported him to the police and testified against him in court. He was also convicted of molesting his six-year-old nephew. As I vaguely remember, he went to jail, but not for the long-term.

Imagine that. The guy seemed like a nice bloke to me, in his mid-thirties at the time, well groomed, quiet and polite with a very well-paying job. He also had a wife and child.

He threw it all away because he took liberties with his sexual orientation.

Yeah, I've had to deal with quite a few as part of my job.

Before doing it I was expecting them all to meet the really creepy stereotype and while some do, some are just normal dudes (and a surprising amount of women) that you would never suspect normally.

Some of them are weirdly proud of it, some of them are extremely ashamed of it, some of them just flat out fucking deny it despite having been convicted with pretty clear evidence.

I find it funny how americans are so hung up on the 18 thing and someone having sex with an 17yo is a phile.. a 17yo girl is pretty likely to have a higher body count than a 25yo guy.. And in the same breath they can't wait until some girl turns 18.. like the clock turning 00.01 makes a huge difference.. creepy is creepy..

Age of consent here is 15.. does that mean you see a bunch of old motherfuckers dating children? No.. you're a sicko just like everywhere else.. it just means that a 15yo girl who is likely already sexually active can fuck whoever she wants.. you'd still catch a good beating if you wake up at some teens house and go downstairs and you're the same age as their father.. haha.. what a fucking scenario..

I know a lot of sex offenders by american standards.. at house partys most guys have probably hooked up with a 16-17yo when they were 18 or 19..

Like i said.. creepy is creepy.. i'd personally not touch anything under 20 and i don't even know how you as an adult would even meet someone under 18..

She was between 14 to 15 at the time. So I don't really personally consider him a real sex offender really. Given teh age of consent here is 16.

A few years later I went on a lads holiday to Thailand (Patatya) which is already mostly known for their sex industry.

Some dude we paid to travel us around town on our first day, who was a British ex pat living their, doing guides. Well he turned out to be a legit nonce with sex crime against legit children (not up for it uk teens).

But besides him, we met loads of dodgy older ex pat British men in Thailand alone, there for teh sex industry.

I'm an unregistered sex offender.

A guy who owned cottage next to ours when I was a teen. He was a 50 year old man living with a 14 year old. The story was he basically rescued this kid from a bad family situation. I was friends with the kid back then too.

We lost touch for a number of years but we crossed paths in our mid 20s and all he said was "he was a sick man".

I feel like the other adults should have known. He ended up getting 6 years.

Some of the laws surrounding this stuff seem pretty archaic. If I understand this correctly, you could have consensual sex with a girl one day, and it's a felony. The very the next day it wouldn't even be a crime.

I think there's definitely a transitional period, where it shouldn't be considered a serious crime, but shouldn't be ignored either. 17 sounds like a reasonable age of consent to me. But I don't think someone's life should be ruined for having consensual sex with a 15-16yr old.

One of my friends, older brother got caught when he was 23-24. He was always a creepy dude, but more in a geeky I watch anime and play final fantasy way rather than I have 400 dvds of porn sort of way. He worked at a church group basically his whole life and became one of the leaders and was banging girls as young as 13. He got caught by a dad making out with one of them in a park. I think he was 24 and she was 13, she may have been 14. He was 2 years older than us and graduated high school at the same time, so he was NOT smart. To show what a winner he is,the last time I saw him, I was in his car (which was really nice shockingly) with his brother and he was saying some weird shit about God, which was out of the ordinary and then wanted to go 170km down a normal street. How does that even work?

Is it illegal to have sex if underaged? If he was 17 isn't he also a kid? Is he expected to bag an 18yo? Can he only have sex with 17yos? If he has a girlfriend and he's born early in the year and she's born late?

I was on a grand jury once and we had a case like this. Dude met a girl at an 18+ club and they started dating. Her mom called him and told him she was actually underage so he agreed to end contact. The girl called him and told her mom was a pathological liar and Sabatoged all of her relationships. She begged him to meet her and she could show him her divers license. He agreed to that and her DL said she 19. The guy was like mid 20s. So they started dating again. Well it turned out the DL was fake and when the mom found out they were dating she pressed charges against the guy.
