the problem is not even the Accent. the problem is the fact that she started to speak bad grammar for someone who grew up speaking English..... she went from speaking normal english to then english accent of someone that had a stroke...

I had a teacher in HS who was an army or foreign service brat. He'd unconsciously slip into the accent of whoever he was talking to. I'm reasonably sure he got hit more than once because of it.
