Series with good ending

The wire's ending wasn't optimistic but I thought it was a very appropriate ending. It shows that the cycle of poverty, violence and corruption continues despite the best intentions of some well meaning individuals, but there is still hope to break out of the cycle as evidence by Bubbles and Namond
This is the one I thought of.

Better Call Saul was absolutely fantastic

Other well done endings:
Breaking Bad
OZ
The Wire (despite the weaker last season)
Yellowstone (despite the terrible last season)
Frasier
King Of The Hill
Clone Wars

Also, hot take...Sopranos was great.

The Shield is definitely an all-timer in that regard and not just the series finale, which was tonally and narratively ideal. The whole eighth season, building up to the conclusion, was great.
That's the only show I can think of that started good, then started going downhill, then came back to finish better than it ever was.

For topic:
The Shield
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Six Feet Under
Cheers
The Leftovers (debatable depending on if you like the direction the show took)

Damn now that you mentioned it, there aren't very many great endings that I've enjoyed.

Breaking Bad was perfect.

Lol at somebody saying Dexter. Fuk off bro

How has Justified not been mentioned as yet.

"We dug coal together".... almost brought a tear to my eye.
Because that unfortunately is no longer the ending.

Two of my favorite shows, House and Monk, both had very satisfying endings.

Justified was awesome too. Just ignore the reboot that occurred ten years later.

These shows had decent endings. Not mind-blowing, but they didn't ruin the show like so many series do:

Cobra Kai
Californication
Sherlock
Ted Lasso
Downton Abbey

Everyone said six feet under has the best ending ever but I was highly disappointed after it had been built up so much.

I don't remember Monk's ending.

You should go watch it then! It's a great 2-part episode. If you like the show then you'll like the ending.

And of course I'm talking about the series ending. Not the one-off movie they made last year.

The car trunk machine gun thing still annoys me about BB's ending.
Yeah that's the only part I didn't like. He should've used a chemistry-based weapon, like an acid bomb or something. His chemistry genius is the entire reason why he was able to go on this ride, it would've been more fitting if he used that in the final episode.

I did like the show. I love Shalhoub. He was awesome in Galaxy Quest.

I went on wiki. Are you talking about Mr. Monk's Last case?
