I don't know if she's the "biggest PED cheat eva" but saying that she's targeted only because she's black (which Bonds also did, despite the home run record already being held by a black man) isn't making a political statement, it's going full potato.

TEnnis' testing is already weak. She is absolutely as shady as they come. If she tried to up that in cycling or track she'd be banned for 4 years (given she did it twice).

She's clearly not the biggest cheat. She's earned respect in tennis, nobody should deny that.

And with that seniority she should conduct herself with class while performing on a stage of this magnitude. Even if she was slighted she was wrong to act like that.

To me, it's natural, with all this in mind, to violently facepalm at anyone making this about sexism or whatever other pet grievance, even if some people are partisan in their characterization of Williams.
