Yeah she really think she was done wrong. All she was given first was verbal warning. Then she smashed her racket and talked some shit. Then she was given 1 point penalty. This is nothing

All hell broke loose when she lost her serve at 3-3 in the second set and Naomi went 4-3 up with serve. The end was very near and she took her anger on the umpire and went on long ass rant. Had she held her serve and went up 4-3 she wouldnt say anything. She felt she wasnt coming back

and what i dont see mentioned is that she wouldnt even have received the last penalty if she had not kept on going after him. i dont think it was that she called him a thief or a liar. it was that she did it after EVERY game. at some point enough is enough.

like i said before, if it were me i would have said "serana, that is enough. if you continue i will be forced to penalize you a game." but still, she was relentless about it. if it were a baseball game, she would have been thrown out a long time ago, not penalized an out

She was 3-1 when she got the the warning and spent the rest of the match complaining because she felt the warning broke her focus, when the reality is that her reaction to that insignificant warning is what broke her focus, if she would have kept focus she might have been able to push it to a 3rd set and maybe even won.
 
Wasn't Serena's prior horrible meltdown (I think against Cljisters) when she was on the verge of losing as well.

I think, like a lot of fierce competitors, she's a poor sport. And either intentionally or subliminally knows that publicity and spectacle is good, and loves the attention of making it about her. Very immature for someone this deep in their career.

Yeah she was playing a 20 year old in her first slam. If she focused maybe the kid would have felt pressure. But it was serena who felt pressure. Remember when she went up 3-1 there was no sit down to next game and was broken back straight away. So she finally gets a break, straight away broken back and because she lost her last final. I think she just felt pressure

Lets have a pretend scenario. A white male server at a restaurant is serving a white woman, a black man, an Asian and a white guy in his section. His wife just dumped him so he is in a terrible mood. He gives shitty service to all the people he is serving.

The white woman thinks he is a sexist. The black man thinks he is getting treated like shit because he is black and the server is racist. The Asian woman thinks he is racist against Asians. And the white guy simply thinks the server is an asshole.

The victim mentality is some narcissistic bullshit.

That's the problem when you have achieved as much as Serena has in her career, your opponents play you like they have nothing to lose. In those situations keeping focus is essential to winning and she couldn't keep focus so she lost.

Hell at least Osaka was playing well, Serena lost Wimbledon not because Kerber played particularly well but she got nervous, lost focus and played like a scrub.
