Send the weight bully Paddy up and feed him to Matthews

Hahaha, I seen that I only posted part of my post

I meant to say birthed weight-classes 10-15lbs apart

Wrestlers brought the culture and showed the strikers how its done the real way

I remember this like a "core memory" from HS wrestling. 1990s

My friend Dave was way over and there was a meet the next day.
Coach comes over in front of everyone and made a big theatrical show of this.

Hands him 3 pieces of gum.

"Here is your dinner tonight.

Breakfast tomorrow.

Lunch tomorrow.

Spit in a cup, run with garbage bags, whatever you gotta do...
you weigh 147 tomorrow. Got it?"

I think we should argue about weight cutting every week for the next ten years.

“A weight bully is a fighter with a natural weight much higher than the division they are competing in. They cut considerable weight for the weigh-in and regain most of their natural weight within the day before their fight. Allowing them to “bully” their opponent with a bigger frame or weight advantage”

Beating washed out chandler is all the makings of a superstar?
Exactly what I’m talking about.

Pimblett goes out there, beats Michael Chandler who is already a popular fight, exciting fighter, and top fighter. Dominates him on the biggest card this year in exciting fashion, that even hosted a world leader & his drones. From his walkout to the fight everything about that performance he took utilize all spotlight that was given him.

It’s not all about who he fought, it’s the performance on said card and amount of eyes that were watching, something you can clearly don’t understand because of your emotional hate can’t comprehend it.

And you want to fight Jake Matthews? Because why? You think Pimblett is weight bully? Literally almost all lightweight practically are the same at this point differences are the height and reach’s.

Just stop watching MMA, because if you can’t enjoy a night of fights and great performance without bitching about then it that says a few things about how you go throughout life.

"Weight bully" based on.... what exactly, your own personal "eye test"? He makes the weight and is entering the cage around 175 lb - 180 lbs just like almost every other lightweight.

Based on common sense and the fact he is known to walk around at 190-200lbs. Facts are facts and it’s a simple observation. Sure he makes the weight. That has nothing to do with the point. It’s not an uncommon practice by many of the most dominant champs over the history of the sport, but it cannot be denied.

He beat Chandler's ass pretty convincingly but I don't see him as a weight bully

If he runs through the top 5 then yeah time to move up but first things first

Walk around weight has nothing to do with being a weight bully, some fighters love indulge, live a little when their not training for a simulated death match.

What matters is he makes the weight, how you ask? Proper discipline and diet. Until Pimblett shows he can make the weight by missing and or struggling, by being pulled like some have then you have not footing on this weight bully talk.

Charles Oliveira has missed across 2 weight classes and is the first LW champion to be stripped because of it, but you don’t hear folks talking about him being a weight bully, but Pimblett who never did is consider one?

This thread encapsulates the current state of MMA fans.

You fuckers complain about the UFC not having any stars or fighters who standout. Then when someone like Pimblett comes around who has all makings of a superstar, you fuckers diminish his win, skills to implying he’s a weight bully.

He made weight and has made weight consistently.

It’s a never ending cry fest with modern fans nowadays. I seriously have never seen as much crying and complaining in the past 5 years in all my years on this site.

It’s bizarre.

Here is a positive observation for you Bro.

Paddy did not get fat between fights this time....

I think his win over Chandler has much more to do with his dedication and seriousness, which is a change for the better for him.

What the hell? Are you high? I was pulling for Paddy and shifting the focus on Islam being a weight bully if Paddy was going to be considered a weight bully.

And Rumble was a 170er. What's your point?
Rumble missed weight a lot at WW, gets moved to MW still missed weight, Pimblett looks the part around other LW´s, Chandler is on the shorter end at LW but the man is also jacked, as long as Pimblett makes weight consistently and doesnt look about to die like Mcgregor did making 145 its all fair game imo.
