Send the weight bully Paddy up and feed him to Matthews

Calls Paddy a weight bully and says he should face someone his own size at WW while—Islam Makhachev—is the reigning champion of the division. If anyone is a weight bully, it’s the god damn champion.

This thread encapsulates the current state of MMA fans.

You fuckers complain about the UFC not having any stars or fighters who standout. Then when someone like Pimblett comes around who has all makings of a superstar, you fuckers diminish his win, skills to implying he’s a weight bully.

He made weight and has made weight consistently.

It’s a never ending cry fest with modern fans nowadays. I seriously have never seen as much crying and complaining in the past 5 years in all my years on this site.

It’s bizarre.
I suspect there are a lot of people that lack the ability to go back on a thought they previously held to be true. They said Paddy was a flash in the pan, and with every subsequent win it's getting more and more difficult to hold the "i was right" viewpoint

I've never bought into the "weight bully" thing. It was mostly another reason to pile on hate for Conor and Jon Jones. If you can make weight, you're not a bully. Now fighters who miss weight more than once...they might be bullies.
lol it wasn't for Conor and JJ, that's the new deranged individuals. Neither one of those guys EVER missed weight

it was used to describe guys like Khabib who has multiple pullouts, misses, and Abu Dhabi scale help. Never entertained going to WW, just keep missing at LW

"Weight bully" based on.... what exactly, your own personal "eye test"? He makes the weight and is entering the cage around 175 lb - 180 lbs just like almost every other lightweight.

Honestly as someone who was around when this term came out it was just to troll thicc fighters who just look too big for the div.

The sad part is that he is not even a weight bully anymore.

The average LW is walking around at 190. It's time for same day weigh ins

Beating washed out chandler is all the makings of a superstar?

This is the problem with UFCs matchmaking of Chandler and LW.

They kept giving Chandler #1-#3 ranked guys, where he lost in a somewhat competitive and entertaining fashion and they let him keep a high ranking and gave him big fights for way too long.

Fact remains that Paddy beat Chandler more convincingly than the rest of the LW-division.
Give him a top 5 guy next, please.

There are no weight bullys, the sport birthed the tradition when weight-classes were introduced

Sport must have a whale vagina to be giving birth to at least a 40 year old if not maybe 60+...

Cause wrestlers have been cutting weight since forever.

Hahaha, I seen that I only posted part of my post

I meant to say birthed weight-classes 10-15lbs apart

Wrestlers brought the culture and showed the strikers how its done the real way
