Keep getting this error "Security error occurred. Please press back, refresh the page, and try again."

Sometimes clearing the cache works. Sometimes not. I am currently using Edge in Inprivate mode and logged in but it happened there too briefly.

I disabled all of my Edge addons and the same thing occurred. Seems to be a Xenforo-related issue.

clearing my cache would be clearing my cookies, which i said i did. I was also in inprivate mode, which doesn't use your cookies that are stored when browsing.

Cookies and cache are 2 different things.

This may or may not be tied to the incoming software update on the backend so let me look into it and get back to you.

Amusingly it's stopped happening since I made that post. But that ^ is what I get.

Edit: Just to confirm, I did try wiping cookies, cache, using shift+F5 etc., and it made no apparent difference.

My work around for this issue is going to a subforum you rarely or never post in and attempt to login from there. This happens to me sporadically as well, but either goes away after the noted work around, or I'll clear the cache/history and that may be fixing too.

I've always been clicking on search to sign in. For some reason if I go there, it lets me sign in. But if I'm just in the War Room, it won't let me do it. Been going on for a long time. Although looking now search doesn't work anymore. Guess I better not sign out...

I tried opening threads I had never opened before and logging in from there but it still happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i had the cloudflare thing for like a week. CONSTANTLY refreshing and asking to verify i am a human. been like that on like 4 different computers. on the phone, both ios and android, no problem. after a while, it stopped, don't know if i did something or it just got fixed on the backend
