Who Won the Debate?

Holy fuck Bernie is just destroying. This is ugly. He's one of the top if not the top American politicians of my lifetime. Never seen anyone so well versed on the debate floor.

Trump will get eaten alive in the general election. Shocking.

Apologies to Tim Ryan for calling him "Time" Ryan. But I'll leave the typo imo (can't edit).

I would be so upset if it wasn't Bernie/Warren 2020.

So upset that I would happily vote for either ticket.

But I would lose some war room bets, so mildly disappointed.
Haha sherdog above all!

But yeah any combination of the two is the best ticket IMHO

Bullocks and Hickenlooper will not be on a debate stage again, they're done.

Ryan is still going to cling in there and despite what others in this thread seem to think, I think he and Delaney are going to be on that next debate stage. I think Klobuchar might be too but I wouldn't be surprised if she was gone too... I don't know what to make of her. She creeps me out kind of.

Williamson is there to stay, somehow... Beto will still be there at the next debate, somehow. I think Bernie skated by with nowhere near a dominant win, closely chased by Buttigieg and then Warren. Nothing too surprising.

Damien has a strong showing

1. Pete
2. Moderate dude
3. Bernie
4. Warren

The rest are toast
Delaney? Or Ryan? Delaney is Homer Simpson and Ryan is the guy who looks like a linebacker.

Delaney impressed me with the majority of his talking points.

But, the truth is. He has no place in the modern day democratic party.

CONCLUSION:
—Overall IMO Buttigieg did the best, but not that much better than the rest
—Warren and Sanders both gave decent performances, but not great
—All the irrelevant candidates remained irrelevant

I don't think this debate will change anyone's opinion as to the major candidates. Bullock may have won some fans, but that's because this is the most exposure he's ever had.

I hate to break it to you, but nothing is going change until we have term limits.

Only part of the equation, and one that has a clear negative output in having a 200 plus year old system, that is highly complex, and has a need for elder statesman. This could be mitigated, so I'm not saying it is a deal breaker, just pointing out it is no sliver bullet.

I'd say a reform on term limits, money in politics, and lobbying is what we need if we want to wrestle away control of our government from entrenched power.

Alright who impressed?
Pete, Delaney were best, and Bernie was not excellent but much better tonight

Warren was okay, Beto was lukewarm

and 5 other people were there

ed: Bernie had the best "moment" when Tim Ryan fucked up and said Bernie didn't know something, allowing Bernie to reply: "I wrote the damn bill!"

I feel like Delaney took it but he is bald so maybe Pete.

Damn, I can't complain about giving Bernie exposure here.

Lots of questions in the debate, and now he is being interviewed in post debate coverage.

This thread got more play than an average bellator card. Hmmm...
