I understand that but it’s a really unpopular proposal. People who had nothing to do with slavery don’t want their tax dollars going to reparations.

My black friend growing up, who I kind of view as a cousin, spent a night trying to get me to say ni***r one night I stayed the night when he was 13 and I was 12. He said "I know you want to, so go ahead and say it.." but i didn't want to. I never liked that word.
