Is he a safe fighter? Sure. Does he lack power output? Sure. Does he bore a lot of people? Sure.

Shouldn't equate to losing a fight you win.

Jared was punching arms and air all fight. Sean lit him up with that jab, was beautifully evasive, and had Jared visibly frustrated, actually asking Sean to stop moving.

Sean landed more. Landed cleaner. Controlled the pace. Frustrated Jared. I mean come the hell on.

Sean won the damn fight.

Honestly...

Tell me how you give Jared the fight?

Is it because he threw harder and missed and the aesthetic of the hard attempts impressed you?

So Jared won because he threw harder and missed.

Man, that fight was miserable to watch and I definitely got up and finished cooking, fed my cat, responded to some texts etc during it. The co main was much better. That said, neither guy threw much, I expected a split decision either way. Neither Sean or Cannonier are contender material at 185lbs...Cannonier is getting old and lacks the confidence, he doesn't throw...vs Whittaker, Adesanya and even Sean he sits back and throws very few punches with no 2nd or 3rd gear, no adjustments, no other plans, almost as if he accepts that he's going to lose.

Sean is low output, low IQ, low athleticism...I mean, i think he's a solid fighter with lots of experience but he's over achieved at MW to make it as far as he has along with the division just being shallow. I think the new crop of middleweights are going to quickly wash guys like Strickland and Cannonier away.

Not a robbery. It was a close fight

Meh, I thought every round was close and you could realistically justify just about any scorecard. I don’t recall either having a defining or memorable moment and when that’s the case, you’re leaving it up in the air.

I think he smokes weed or something. He's a really lazy and passive fighter. Cokehead Strickland finishes all his opponents

Your post is entirely disagreeable.

Yea, sure. Lets disregard both fighters landing shot for shot, statistics have it even and Stricklands broken nose.

Close fight (I had Strickland up 48-47) but Strickland can't complain since he didn't mix in any takedowns or kicks. If he did he would have won. He might have beat Periera if he did the same.
