I guarantee I watch more boxing than you lol, I’m not some MMA casual who occasionally takes a gander at high profile boxing fights… I’m an avid boxing fan who became a fan of MMA.


There is not much complexity to Jake’s game, he’s a mediocre hobby boxer with a decent punching power who’s in his physical prime (arguably juiced out his mind) boxing guys who are NOT boxers. The only entry level boxer he fought gave him a fat L. Casual fans gravitate torwards the HL reel KO’s but never put any context on it. He’s fighting very undersized decrepit and out of shape guys who don’t belong to in the boxing ring.

If you think Jake Paul has anything for a big skilled guy in his physical prime like Sean Strickland, you need to get your head checked. Lock this guy in with Strickland in a room and I guarantee you Strickland makes him his wife 100/100 times. It’s not close my boy.

I’ve trained boxing for more than a dozen years, kickboxed for a decade, and competed in Muay Thai and MMA. Congrats if you watch more boxing than me, which may or may not be true.
Anderson Silva is not an entry level boxer. He’s a high level striker and beat Julio Caesar Chavez Jr in boxing who is a former world champion. Jake Beat Anderson, so he is better than some “mediocre hobby boxer.” Not high level, but better than you’re giving him credit for.
In a real fight, Sean smokes Jake but in a boxing ring, Jake could beat Sean.
Remember, while Jake may be KO’ing the Askrens and Woodleys(pro fighters), Sean couldn't even drop a criminally undersized Sneako.
Power is on Jake’s side and it’s not even close, my boy.

Fair enough. I reckon Sean absolutely mauls him and finishes him if they actually fight. People saw a 20 sec flurry from Sean resulting in multiple stoppages and think that because Sneako didnt fall over, he was somehow still with it. It was in the cage so he could keep running, he threw no offence back and a standing TKO is just a KO they stopped to prevent a face down KO. They had 16 ounce gloves on, Sneako was fully covered up and he still barely survived and was saved by Forest Griffin.

THis in my opinion is how it ends if Sean and Jake actually fought.Just like big bro and Csta.

Sean is the professional fighter, fighting 185ers in their prime.

Jake is the guy who has fought multiple 170 lb ex MMA fighters with a wrestling background primarily.
The one 185er he fought was a near 50 year old Anderson Silva.

His most recent opponent has had 1 fight in 6 years. Only one person in this equation wants to fight and bully undersized people, with the one time he fouhgt someone his own size, resulting in him losing.

I love all the people saying Sean couldn't finish Sneako after he threw a single flurry at him and they called a standing TKO. He literally stood in front of Sneako for a round and then wilted him with 10-20 secs of offence so badly, he had 2 corner stoppages and the ref step in.
