Sean Strickland makes Headlines on X

More of you should have been smacked, if you had been the majority of these Aspinall threads wouldn't exist right now.
Everyone knows you love the tast of Bumspinall's cock but no need to display that on other thread totally unrelated... come on man... <6>

Same my mom never hit us. Though my brother probably needed several hundred serious ass whopings....

She did take away all our shit (toys, cable, etc.), lock it away, and make us wear old cloths... Which to me really sucked...

<Fedor23>

My parents would either take things away or just raise their voice and explain things to me if I did something wrong. You gotta show tough love, but I don’t think smacking is the way.

Spanking here and there isnt beating your kids. If hitting your kids makes you anything like sean its definitely not the right approach. Imagine listening to this fucking guy for any parenting advice. Dude is 100 percent fucked up

My parents never laid a hand on me and are still together. Is it that normal that kids get smacked ?
I think it is depending. Definitely cultural. I got whooped maybe 10 times ever. I do think there is a hear and there where kids cross a line and need to get checked. If you are a line crosser better your parents teach you then some crazy fucker in the street

Kinda like dogs. Kids don't need to be hit. And if you ever think they did, there was already a problem with the parenting way before the "needing to hit them"

And if you're somebody who thinks that you got hit and turned out just fine so kids should still be hit? Then you did not turn out fine.

Dana better ban him like he did Matt Riddle for saying he smoked weed so he doesn't beat his kids. Meanwhile Strickland is openly promoting it

<{danayeah}>
Come on Bald Goof let's get some consistency here.

Question for all the people who got smacked:

If it worked, why did you get smacked again?

"Good evidence suggests that physical punishment does not reduce defiant or aggressive behaviour nor does it promote long-term positive behaviour in children.11,14,15,16 A systematic review of 53 studies on the use of physical punishment in schools found that it had negative effects on the academic performance of children and resulted in behavioural issues (e.g. violent behaviour and aggressive conduct).17"

I know everyone is looking for easy answers, but maybe question things a little more?

Incentives have pretty much been repeatedly proven to be like 3-5 times more effective than sanctions.

Says who, some guy on a MMA forum?

Some dogs need to be put down
