I'll bump my thread with this. Figured some of you might enjoy it, my nephew caught this monster yesterday (it's gator season down here).

You skin it and sell the hide by the ft, the bigger the gator the more per ft it is. Then you process and sell the meat. They also have alligator processing plants where you can just sell the gator whole (we use to have one).

My Nephew said he's keeping the hide and head for this one.

Btw I've only eaten gator a hand full of times, we really don't eat gator believe it or not. Lol
