Definetely no chance for Shavkat to fight in October.
November maybe,but still its questionable if his injury will be healed properly until November.

Yeah, as much as I want old Shavkat back, we have to see how he can return. I wouldn't be shocked if he never was the same it looked that bad.

His wife and kid just got injured in a car wreck that claimed 2 lives on top of it. He's just overall probably in no shape to be entering any training camps.

I forgot about that, also tragic. Shavkat has had a bad run of the cards lately.

Shavkat has been out nearly a year and will be out the rest of the year until sometime in 2026. Sean is not going to wait that long for a fight, not to mention a win over Ian will put him over Shavkat as #1 contender..

No way shavkat should be allowed to come back after 12+ months and fight anything higher than a #1 contender fight.

How does beating Garry change things Shavkat already bested Garry himself (I already thought Brady is ahead after domination of Leon but Islam means he gotta fight not wait) doesn't seem to add to his claims.

Because Sean finished a higher ranked opponent and a former champ, mean while Shavkat fought Ian to a close decision victory. If Sean were to beat Ian that would be enough to put him over Shavkat (especially if it's by finish) as #1 contender. Shavkat should not be allowed to sit out over a year and come back to an immediate TS, especially not in a busy division like WW. If this were anyone else or any other division they would be telling Shavkat to get to the back of the line after a year or longer lay off. It should be no different here. Shavkat when he comes back should get a #1 contender fight, yes. But TS? No.

Just saw yesterday they were saying Shavkat is targeting MSG or atleast Dec. If thats not the case and its next year then yeah I wouldnt wait if I'm Brady I guess I look at Garry but if Shav can return in Nov/Dec it should be him and Brady.

Shavkat vs Brady would be ideal, but I'm hearing Shavkat is out til next year with a bad shoulder injury.
