Work ethic. While most people go home, sit on their ass and watch tv he's always working on something. That's how you be successful. It isn't handed to you.

Yes and his lack of talent proves it. There are people that are naturally very gifted but they never get far because they work hard. When someone lacks in talent and still finds success that only shows how hard they work. Just look at his history. Wasn't very good at football and still almost made it to the NFL. Wasn't that good in MMA and still was a top 10 fighter and beat a legend. Doesn't speak english fluently and still has 3 podcasts and tours almost every weekend.

But still he’s awful to listen to. He’s only where he is because his friends helped him along. There are stand up comedians that are no namers that are much more talented than he is without all his fame and money.

That may be but he still has enough of an audience that he makes a great living and just bought a brand new ferarri and shit. People always bring up the fact that he's friends with joe but he hasn't been a regular guest on JRE in years. There sure are but I bet they don't work as hard as they could or are as savvy with marketing. Brendan is horrible at many things but he's a beast of a businessman and a hard worker.

How many struggling comics are there that would love to have specials but they're not friends with Rogan?

I don't begrudge the dude for trying. But it pisses me off to see him getting attention that funnier comics deserve more than he does.

First half was maybe a 4 or 5/ 10 which is really good for Schaub standards but the last half was a 0. I laughed maybe 5 or 6 times overall but I'm also stoned right now so the dumbest things will make me laugh.

Overall: 2.5/10 ..I remember turning his first special off so at least this was an improvement
