Again, he's not playing with a full deck by the end of the film. In his mind he can save the kid and resolve the Sosa issue.

Listen I'm not saying it's my favorite thing about the movie. I'm just saying it's not like it doesn't make sense in the confines of the film and his character.

I understand the wannabe gangsters having him on a pedestal but it was terrible.

I liked it but it's a bit overrated IMO. I guess moreso I got annoyed with every high schooler, college age dude, rapper, and wanna be tough guy having to put Scarface posters up in their room/house/dorm.

The woman on the bed with the shotgun disappeared immediately after the movie and was discovered dead 2 years later. Apparently she freaked out on set because of the scene and ran off. No one knows what happened to her after that.

Loved it. Like others have said, it was rough around the edges, but damn was it a fun ride. 9/10. Watched it at least a dozen times.

To be fair its not like Scarface acts as some kind of subtle takedown of Tony and his ideals/lifestyle, its pretty in your face about it as Stone typically was so I'm not sure it can really be blamed for people making a hero out of Tony.
