I'd legit avoid gaslamp at night, that shit is only fun if you're with a group of friends and down to blow a shit ton of money.

More likely just get tangled up in a mass of seaweed and then drug out to sea by some vicious rip current.

I really enjoyed North Park. Some good restaurants / breweries all with in walking distance of each other.

ya, SD is like the mecca for many craft breweries, I never even realized how many b/c I don't drink that shit

Yeah, San Diego is awesome but I was disappointed by the beach. Just a bunch of seaweed everywhere and the water is like 72. lol

lived there for a year in college, only white guy for 4 blocks but I loved it. so much food options

granted there was a literal driveby while I was at wienerschnitzel on El Cajon Blvd, so ya. that sucked. couldn't even get my hot dogs b/c it was then a crime scene and I had to stay to give a witness statement

depends on the beach, PB and MB is where tourists go, but WyndnSea and La Jolla Shores are legit, as are Solana beach and some of the other technically independent cities just north. Point Loma and OB area legit also
 
sunset cliffs, in Point Loma, a natural park is a legit spot to take your women for sundowns or whatnot

So uh, North Park must have gentrified a bit? There's a ton of cool stuff between El Cajon and Upas on 30th street.

That or I just didn't notice how ghetto it was lol, almost seemed like some hipster arts district actually.

not really, I was just on the outskirts of north park/college heights in the ghetto. Further down towards Hillcrest and Kensington it gets real nice.

But ya, north park/college park have their own lil Somalia. shit's wild

edit: fuck, city heights, not college heights
guess NP only goes up to the 805, and then it's city heights. I lived in City Heights, my bad. on 49th and El Cajon and 51st and El Cajon
