most of the Mexican restaurants in Old Town (Café Coyote, Fiesta de Reyes, Old Town Mexican Café) have bomb food and make fresh tortillas scratch from maza daily.

shit is incredible

I ate at Old town Mexican cafe two yrs ago. Pretty damn good and cheap.

Lmfao at El Cajon. That shot is ghetto as fuck and where BLM was rioting over the crazy black dude getting shot for pointing his Vape at a cop rofl.
Yeah that guy was nuts. Fyi, don't take a shooting stance at cops with an object in your hands while cops are surrounding you yelling commands with guns drawn

Bet he looked cool af with that vape tho...

@PolishHeadlock not to be a dick to the ones that suggested Mexican places but ask one for their recommendation of that's what you're looking for. Most places are crap and I find the best ones to be little mom and pop places. you usually want to eat close to authentic as possible.

i get what Revo is saying, but all the places mentioned are legit as fuck, by hispanics and whites alike

it is SD tho, literally any corner tacoshop is likely cheap and has amazing, authentic food.

i went to rosarito for a 4 day wknd one time, and it was the first time i had ever tried carne asada (picky remember, plus i didn't actually know what it was). no joke, i proceeded to eat them (street tacos or from a sit down restaurant) for the next 4 days, every meal even breakfast. been in love w/ that shit ever since

By and large I've eaten far better Mexican food in California than I have in Mexico...

Maybe I just like Cali-mex better than Mexi-mex... oh well.

Used to go to rosarito all the time when I was younger. Place was fun as hell to party at.

best tacos I've ever had were in Mexico City in Chapultapec park from a street vendor on a Sunday during family vacation when I was a kid. Damn, that could have been one of the most satisfying things ever, downed wit some lemon Yoli.

I wonder if that map in that old Tijuana thread still holds up. That shit was hilarious

I've probably mentioned this before but I have buddy from university with a place around Kinmount --- which isn't too far away. i suspect you drive it on the way to Bancroft -- or maybe not if you drive on the 401 and then head north at Belleville.
Kinmount has the largest county fair in ontaro. ive driven ib the demolition derby now for ten years runin.

Polish check out the crack shack in little Italy. It's right next door to Juniper and Ivy.
