I'll make the case for what I KNOW to be the GOAT drink
CONS
-They don't sell them canned in the grocery stores near me
-Sometimes I get a stomach ache if I drink it too fast
Ah ya youre in NY right?@PUO3
When I lived in LA, the old lady and I would often have friends come down and tell us about Bourbon & Branch. Nothing but good things. Unfortunately, every time we would go up, usually on our way to Napa and Sonoma, something would come up, and we wouldn't find the time to check that place out.
Now that I'm so far away, it is less likely any time soon.
the drink i invented, while shaken like a martini, is served in a tall rocks or even pint glass, not a chilled, coated martini glass.....just saying. Could i have went w/ Raspberry/Blackberry Brandy, w/ diced fruit and club soda? would that be more allowable Palp?
clearly i was making drinks for woman, and not so much men
Word? you know personally, a guy that died in 1964? RespectStopped right here. Martinis weren't ever shaken classically, and any real Martini drinker, whether it be with Vodka and especially Gin, always ask for it to be stirred.
Bozo Fleming, purposely made Bond this way to show how, while he tried to fit in, was never quite refined enough.

My dad always drank very dry martini's...basically 3 fingers of ice cold gin and a couple of olivesStopped right here. Martinis weren't ever shaken classically, and any real Martini drinker, whether it be with Vodka and especially Gin, always ask for it to be stirred.

Just fucking w/ you man. I knew that about martini's, but it does seem the vast majority of younger people order them shaken. When i worked at the country club in VA, it was usually stirred, but the average customer was at least 50 so yaNo edited that out, I was going somewhere else with the creation of the Martini, and then lost track. Don't know Fleming.
