SBBC Vol 1 - Corona is a can

Yeah got all that taken care of. Not gonna stand in line with the poors.

That could work, be close to the hotel.

Couple more questions. How’s the Cangels park? Saw the Cubs are in town for a series.

Any other spots we should check out? Beaches?
Cangels park is ok. Kind of mediocre but easy to get in and out. You should be able to find cheap tickets the day of since no one but the opposing fans go to games. Not sure how well the cubs fans travel so but you should see the majority of their fans at the game.

OC beaches are decent. I like Newport over Huntington Beach if you're strictly going to be at the beach. I like Main St in HB better to just eat and drink though. Tons of different bars and restaurants in a close proximity. The weather isn't that great for the beach right now though. It most likely will be cold and breezy. Water is cold too.

If you're into the whole amusement park thing then Knotts Berry Farm would be something you may enjoy. I personally don't because it's filled with people who are too poor to go to disneyland. You're probably better off just going multiple days to disney instead.

Right on, yeah definitely not getting into the water right now. Main St sounds pretty good.

We’re heading further north to LA on Saturday and Sunday. Doing Universal too.

lmao at talking about being poor then saying you’d rather go to Main Street than Newport. 2nd floor is a cool spot if you’re trying to get stabbed by someone who’s ready to storm the capital. Pacific city in HB is way nicer.

the peninsula in Newport is the goat but parking sucks ass.

Pacific City and Main St go hand in hand imo since they're right next to each other. 2nd floor sucks. But for the amount of different bars/restaurants in one area HB is better.

That's the thing, parking sucks ass. For someone coming from out of town HB is easier to navigate.

hit up coastal LA at some point to see the la dimes. Marina del Rey, Santa Monica, Venice, malibu.. there’s a top golf in el segundo. Griffith observatory in north la is cool for a family and relatively close to universal. Hollywood is overrated but driving/walking down sunset once is chill to at least say you’ve been lol. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go.

I’ve never been a fan of Main Street, especially at night. During the day it’s chill though.

Redondo beach was my favorite place in the 90s.

Drive down Sunset is a must start in eas LA and end up at the Ocean. Iconic LA.

Our bankers were in Santa Monica close to the beach. Incredible how that area gentrified from the early 90s when one block past the 3rd street promenade and it was ghetto.

Laguna and San Clemente in south OC are nice af too. Lots of good spots to eat there as well.

Absolutely. I almost took a job at Invitrogen in 2006. Solana beach was where we looked for a house. It collapsed in the crash. 2008 Turned out to be a buying opportunity.

San Bernadino is the jewel of So Cal. Or Oceanslime.

I’ve got a Jersey Mike’s that’s a 10 minute walk from me. Got to have Vitamin D and an elite sandwich.

Hit up Disney and Universal then ditch the LA area and head north to Santa Barbara. Hit up SBSU for some hotties and then hit all the wineries on the Central Coast. The hangovers are gonna be atrocious but you’ll thank me later.

Central coast is awesome. Last summer I met some boise dime that lives up there that wants to slam but haven’t had the time/motivation to drive up there yet. I’ll just wait till she comes to LA lol.

No recent experience in SoCal.
Inlaws used to live in Northridge.
That's where I'd bump into @Matt from time to time at the Cigarette/Water store on Chatsworth.
Stopped by to see Revo but he was out.
Lived in Laguna for a summer a long time ago.

The end.
