I don't think I've ever watched Mad Men while sober. I should really change that soon

edit: lol yeah that scene is great too. They use a goddamn printer/copier and he puts on a pair of glasses lol

Post something off it. I fucking love the song March Of The Fire Ants, but nothing else ever clicked with me the same way

Also, anybody ever crack this bone? The pubic symphysis? Cracked it in physical therapy earlier today, might be the weirdest feeling I've ever felt

I really like this song, I'm a sucker for catchy choruses

Lol it aint broken, it just cracks like the rest of my unbreakable bones. I guess I'm off-center a bit

Shit's weird doe, I was like what in the fuck was that?!

re: Mastodon, heard a couple songs its not bad but I like their older stuff more tbh

GOAT Mastodon song

Alex do you like Botch? You seem to like heavy music

Not liking the clean vocals in that Mastodon song at all, dafuq happened?

I like all types of music (except country). Can't say I've heard of Botch though. Can give them a listen when I get a chance.

Love the catchy choruses on this album.

This is probably the best song top to bottom.

March of the Fire Ants was off Remission which from 2002 I think. Their sound has changed a lot since then.

Seems like experts agree Mastodon is an A level band. They are great live as well.

Album has gotten rave reviews from what I've seen thus far.

Chilly just must have awful taste in all things music, movies, tv (calling Mad Men trash lol)

Most experts agree I have excellent taste when it comes to films, television, and music.

Mad Men is boring as fuck.

I'm waiting for Chilly to proclaim Godfather III the best Godfather movie.

Their album We Are The Romans is my favorite heavy album of all time. I'm talking hardcore, metal, whatever. I know you're a fan of the metalcore genre, and it just wouldn't exist without them. Basically the pioneers of the whole math-core style. Off-time and general craziness. Their influence is ridiculous

If you're going to listen to the album, listen to it as a whole. I know it's a lost art nowadays, but it's an album. Not many albums I've experienced in my life where I've finally listened to it all the way through, and been like, ohh my god

Specific songs would be "I Wanna Be a Sex Symbol on My Own Terms", or "Saint Matthew Returns to the Womb". The former, at 2:33, is my favorite moment in music. The latter is the song that got me into them

lyrics
It comes (grow) in truckloads (young) and torrents
| We spread like the flies that eat the sweet tears
from your eyes | She comes (shot) in armies
(down) fear them | We're western medicine feshly
flown | They lose (no) in the (sale) millions | But
we can help you up here's your new beliefs | Your
home our womb | We'll be crowned the new kings
| All I know I've seen through a lens | All I feel
I've learned through pages | She's a perfect ten
| Here's the supermodel for you to follow | She's
bringing something new| Worked her for so long
and we've lost

lyrics
On the porch, two words changed life for me
And I'm not the same

He said, "Son, soon your life will change"
And I believed in him
"Your soul will be free of the pain"
"In time you'll know that it's true"
The hand of God will pick me up
"So pledge your loyalty"
So I fall to you

False eyes
Forked words
I'm ten

Now that I see you're just a man
Recruiting your followers
And this was not won by your hand
Questions and contradictions
It's like I'm following the rabbit around the track again
Around and around

And you're so sure
Two words

The changes I've endured

And I know it is all shit.
