SBBC: Thank god I'm not a poor person

I thought the last season of the The Wire was easily the worst. The whole Homeless Strangler thing was meh

TD did lose some steam, but I feel like they got crunched due to only having 8 episodes to work with

Both shows had really great final seasons, though

I wonder if TD will just be a one hit wonder.

Pretty much impossible to compare a show like TD that only has 8 episodes, to another great show like The Sopranos, that has close to 90.

It's also hard to compare the two because there's no fat guidos in True Detective.

Wait until td puts a season in New Jersey, Alex will be claiming it's the undisputed GOAT.

It's a shame Boardwalk shit the bed. Probably would have gone down as one of the 5 best shows ever. Not even sure I can watch the next season.

It's like if Mike Trout decided to retire after this season

I read that Boardwalk is going to be doing some time jumps this season. The series is probably going to end in the Great Depression.

The Wire shits all over fat guidos eating canolies (sp?)

It's jumping 7 years I believe. Starting during the depression.

I tried watching The Wire. Felt so dated. I'll give it another shot soon though.

I was looking forward to some of the stuff that happened before 1931 but I'm sure the last season will be good.

Hopefully they keep around at least one character that's supposed to die during the time jump.

Everyone loves that opening scene. You know right away you're about to experience something epic.

Mouth breathers are probably mad because they'd rather watch the guy get killed than the dialogue after it.
